Bastogne is a French-speaking town in Belgium and a district capital in the Walloon and Belgian Ardennes regions, in the province of Luxembourg.

Best known for the siege it suffered during the Battle of the Bulge in 1944, the town has several monuments commemorating these events, the most important of which is the Mardasson Memorial, inaugurated in 1950.

Bastogne is also one of the key stages of the Liège-Bastogne-Liège "classic", the "doyenne" of cycling races, created in 1892, and it was here that the Circuit des Ardennes, the first major car race to be run on a closed circuit, was held from 1902 to 1907.
