Fleurus is a French-speaking town in Belgium, located in the Walloon Region, in the province of Hainaut, north-east of Charleroi.

The municipality is situated in the district of Charleroi; the postcode is 6220. Fleurus is often referred to as the ‘city of the Bernardins’.

In addition to the town of Fleurus, the municipality comprises seven villages: Brye, Heppignies, Lambusart, Saint-Amand, Wagnelée, Wanfercée-Baulet and Wangenies.
