Hubert Bouttiau is a contemporary Belgian artist born in 1988 in Mons. He is known for monumental paintings characterised by radical artistic techniques that give them a powerful presence. His works are structured by contrasts, featuring, on the one hand, large-scale compositions depicting objects (artificial constructs) built from strict geometric forms, acrylic and cool monochrome colours, methodically arranged without nuances and with a matt texture.
Then, on the other hand, through surfaces representing carnal elements (nature), rendered in oil using warmer colours.

Hubert Bouttiau was featured in Scope Miami Beach 2019: Art Week’s Wild Show Off and was mentioned in an article by WHITEWALL in December 2019. These references highlight his participation in art events and his significance within the contemporary art scene.
