Hand in hand: Social and economic inclusion of newcomers

The public hearing "Hand in hand: Social and economic inclusion of newcomers", 9 July, 9.30-13.00 at the EESC (JDE63), will focus on various aspects related to social and economic inclusion of third country nationals and will feature two panel debates and a speech.

The first panel will focus on social inclusion of third country nationals. It will focus on the role of public services in integrating refugees and asylum seekers and on the importance of societies being welcoming towards newcomers.

In the second panel, speakers will discuss various aspects related to the importance of skills to economic integration and will address discovering, mapping and further developing talents and skills in view of finding employment.
