The town of Herstal is home to numerous talented photographers, and there are many opportunities to capture striking images there.

Herstal is a French-speaking town in Belgium, situated in the province of Liège in the Walloon Region.
Since 1 January 1977, the municipality of Herstal has been merged with the former municipalities of Milmort, Vottem (with the exception of a few streets that were transferred to Liège) and part of the former municipality of Liers (the other part having been incorporated into Juprelle). It forms part of the Lower Meuse region.

In addition to its many picturesque narrow streets and distinctive atmosphere, Herstal offers numerous green spaces and pleasant walks. The town provides a suitable backdrop for photo shoots that showcase your company, organisation or institution.

Although closely linked to its industrial past and present, the town of Herstal also offers pleasant walks that reveal a subtle balance between cultural and industrial heritage and the green countryside of the surrounding villages.

Herstal by bike: this cycle route offers a comprehensive tour of Herstal’s heritage. It has been designed to be followed by bike and makes use of the many facilities for sustainable transport available in our town. However, you can also follow it on foot, either in full or in part.
The walk forms a large loop starting from Place Jean Jaurès and allows you to discover virtually all of Herstal’s remarkable buildings, historic sites and monuments, idyllic spots and places steeped in history.
To ensure that everyone can enjoy the walk, regardless of their fitness level or the time they have available, certain sections of the walk are offered as optional.
