LEADER 2023 European Congress: photo coverage at the EESC in Brussels

ISOWAY provided photography coverage of the LEADER 2023 European Congress at the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), in Brussels’ European Quarter.

The reportage combines wide views of the conference room, working groups, and speakers photographed both in context and in close-up. Natural expressions and exchanges between participants capture the human dimension of the congress alongside its formal presentations.

This variety gives the organiser a versatile collection of images for website updates, social media, press coverage and reports, showing both the scale of the event and the people who brought it to life.

A Photographic Success at the 2023 LEADER European Congress

Recently, ISOWAY had the honour of covering a major international event: the 2023 European LEADER Congress, held in the prestigious premises of the European Committee of the Regions. This landmark event, the first of its kind to bring together such a wide range of European Local Action Groups (LAGs) in over 15 years, represents a major milestone in the promotion of sustainable rural development.

The 2023 European LEADER Congress is notable as the first event of its kind organised by an institution outside the European Commission, underlining its significance. The European LEADER Association for Rural Development (ELARD), a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving the quality of life in rural areas, played a key role in organising the event. With 32 members from 29 European countries and beyond, ELARD underscored the importance of sustainable and integrated local development.
