Illkirch-Graffenstaden is a French commune located south of Strasbourg, within the Strasbourg Eurometropolis, in the Bas-Rhin department of the Grand Est region. It also forms part of the cultural and historical region of Alsace. Its inhabitants are known as Illkirchois.

The two separate villages of Illkirch and Graf(f)enstaden merged during the French Revolution. It borders Strasbourg (the Meinau district), Ostwald and Geispolsheim, and is crossed by the river. Many areas of the town and its surroundings (Ostwald in particular) have been quarried, creating numerous lakes.

With a population of 27,222, the town of Illkirch-Graffenstaden has become a particularly attractive economic, commercial and cultural hub in the south of the Strasbourg conurbation.
